Site Walk Minutes

Members present: Andrew Hatch, Nan Schwartz, Jim Crandall and Paul Dulac

Alternates present: Steve Terani

Absent: Jean Kluk, Don Revane

Public present: Noah Chidester

 

We met at 10AM, at the Chidester residence, 313 Old Marlow Road.

 

We were shown the property by Noah Chidester, who answered our questions about the property and his business. We went through the checklist on the application for Site Plan Review for a home business and checked the plan map. Hatch added the well location and dimensions to the map. We noted good screening from the road and adequate parking for equipment and cars. Noah asked about the process when he moves his business to his lot, when he builds. Schwartz said we will figure out a fair process when the time comes, he won’t have to start from scratch.

Dulac made a motion to accept the application as complete, Crandall seconded the motion and all voted in favor. We set the public hearing on his application for July 2^nd at 6:30PM, Schwartz will notice and notify the abutters.

 

Hatch said that we have an application for Meghan Tweedy for a temporary driveway for logging on Lempster Mountain Road. Schwartz said she looked at the site and proposed that we approve, pending Ed Thayer’s signoff and recommendations. Schwartz made that motion, Dulac seconded the motion and all voted in favor.

 

The site visit was adjourned at 10:15AM.
