Site Walk Minutes

Time: 10:00am

 

Members present: Jim Crandall, Steve Terani, Paul Dulac and Nan Schwartz.

Public present: Leonard Hakulin

 

We met at the Annelli/Hakulin house and Leonard gave us a tour and answered our questions about Annelli’s Tea and Tea Party business.

 

He said the business is seasonal and will be held on the screen porch and in the yard. The porch is 90’x 8’ (720 sq ft) requiring 5 parking spaces total. We determined that there is plenty of parking along both sides of the 150’ driveway with more room in the yard. There is also room on the side of the road if needed. He stated that she will be baking pastries at the house and Schwartz suggested they check with the State Department of Health. He stated that she has already been in touch with them concerning this and her catering business that will use the kitchen at the Legion in Hillsboro.

The days of operation are Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5. The well is located in front of the house and the septic system and leach field are behind the house. He said that no sign is needed for the business.

We looked over all the applications and materials and determined that we have what we need. Crandall explained that we will go over the application and determine its completeness at our meeting on Tuesday and set the date for the hearing at that time.

 

The site visit was adjourned at 10:20AM.
